I was at Foxwoods a few weeks ago for FARGO (the Foxwoods annual rec.gambling outing) when I was playing a 15-30 HOE game with Michelle A. and Bob L. Many of the locals at the table were in a mood of perpetual grouchiness which is one reason I don't play a lot of live poker ( Read more... )

*sigh* I so envy the East Coast's selection of split-pot games. Minnesota has just one occasional 6/12 Stud/8 game, and Northern California has 6/12 Omaha/8 at best. Maybe someday I'll get to play a mid-stakes OE mix.

Don't envy Atlantic City too much. The only mix games are subsets of HOSE because they aren't allowed to spread razz or triple draw or anything else. Though I suppose if you're looking for specifically split pot games, as opposed to diversity of mix games, that's a positive...

Bay Area + Minnesota == Total absence of any mix games whatsoever.

Also == absence of any mid-stakes games other than Hold'em.

LOL and that same guy in AC wanted to file a complaint against the dealer for saying do you have a low? Yah she prob shouldnt of said that but still that guy was NUTS!!!He made a huge stink with the floor to get him paper so he can write a complaint and shit.. and the floor guy is like im in charge ill take care of it.. and he demanded to write it down.......LOL... oh yah .. who took his money.. YOU DID!@!!!!! It boggled my mind that dudes antics in AC.. he was off his rocker..
