The best Japanese review I've found

Another excellent review

And the review you've all been waiting for!

I returned from Japan late this past Wednesday. My primary reason for going was to see the D-BOYS stage (D-STE) Yuhiden. This 17th production by Watanbe Entertainment's young male actor troupe also capped Seto Koji's 10th anniversary since ( Read more... )

I can clearly read how Koji-chan impressed you ^-^. Sounds really good! So I´m curious what path he will take. We´ll keep watching him ^-^.

Oh, hey! I didn't even mean for this review to go public yet! How did I manage that! Well, I guess I've whetted your appetite for me to finish it!

Haha..the magic of PC...or the evil? I know the problem ^-^.
Yes, I´m looking forward to more - saw already you added some today - but I´ll save that for another day. It´s awful late already and I am not fit again yet.

Thanks for those reviews!! I've been stalking the internet for Yuhiden pics and reviews cos that's what a crazie fangirl does when she's obsessed xD
I didn't know it was specifically for his 10th year anniversary!! =O
I completely agree when you say 'you should know that the off-stage roles are as carefully alloted as the character roles' D-Boys/Patch/D2 actors are always picked as if it was fate for them to play them!
Unless it things like TRUMP where it's where it created to soley show that they can they truelly act by being able to play two different roles depending on what performance-version they are doing!

Oh, yeah, this was definitely a Seto Koji 10 Year Anniversary project. It was both a chance for WE to showcase one of their best properties and an opportunity to give him greater responsibility in the behind-the-scenes activity of bringing a play to life. Seems he did a pretty good job. Not only were all the D-BOYS loving on each other as if they were on a group marriage honeymoon, he even brought Shuuto into the group. He really put that お兄さん mind of his to work!

Ahh I thought it was more of a 'We're announcing a new DBoys! Oh look! He's coincidentally in our newest DStage' and therefore thought it was suppose to be a play that eased the fans into Miyazaki's entrance into D-Boys...

So Seto did... everything?

Maybe, Seto was supposed to encourage a final decision? They sure seemed to get really tight all of a sudden, so something was afoot. I don't think WE had any worries about fans accepting Shuto. I mean, he has a big fan base he brought into D-BOYS on his own. Really, the only reason I can think that he decided to join D-BOYS is his experience of the group camaraderie, which, I've read, is really notable among Japanese entertainers. Having a large and harmonious group that can work together but also foster solo careers is very attractive in Japan.
