One day, I will get around to reading The Man Who Loved Yngve. One day. Also, Dorian Gray. (I think Les Miserables is a lost cause, though.)

I think of all three of those as pretty crucial to my upbringing :P (The Man Who Loved Yngve possibly a bit more directly; As an awkward teenager it was a revelation to read about awkward teenagers).

I've been craving An Actual Book lately. You just reminded me that I have not read Nicholas Nickleby :DD

Loved all the quotes you've chosen though (though I've not read The Man Who Loved Yngve, or even heard of this book...)

I love that Roald Dahl story...It's like the story of the Internet..

It took a lot of time choosing just one because I love so many Dickens books, but I realized Nickleby is probably my favourite (and now I'm reminded I'm halfway through Martin Chuzzlewit, I haven't picked that book up in months).

Well I guess that's to expected :) It's a coming-of-age story about a young man who find himself falling in love with another guy, much to his own surprise. As far as I know it's been translated to English, though the movie adaption fared better in the foreign market than the book.
