I've realized the main reason I dislike that episode is because of the horrible lighting. All of season three has that garish unforgiving white light but coupled with that red sky it makes me uncomfortable just looking at it. Random reason or what?
No, it makes total sense. They just didn't have a location budget, and then didn't have a set budget, so mostly I focus on what they were able to do. Which wasn't much, but I always thought that one at least provided a clever way around the problem.
