The sound on our laptop isn't working.

I checked the audio program that came with the laptop and when I clicked the 'test speakers' button, noise came out. So the speakers work, they just aren't giving me any sound effects and music and stuff.

It's not on mute and the volume control icon in the corner is at 100%... so why has it decided to just

Um. The only thing i can think of is the sub-sound settings in the sound panel (clicking on it and opening the mixer) since you can (for some reason mute inernet explorer while not muting other programs)....but that's probably not it. :/

Don't you just hate it when technology decided not to work how we want it to? >_

I'm glad you already fixed it. I always call my boyfriend when my computer or my mini laptop isn't working. ^^ So I don't worry about technical problems - I have someone to fix them. *LOL*
