I decided to watch Shadow of a doubt because I'm a Hitchcock fangirl, but I think I wound up enjoying Joseph Cotten playing that kind of charming/disturbing Hitchcock villain way too much.
Don't worry Jo, when I get that time machine working you're on my list too baby.
Fangirling aside, I read up on the movie after watching it and the parallels to Dracula really are mindblowing when you realize it - but then again not overtly so. I can't figure out if it was intentional or coincidental. Though I'm guessing ol' Alfred probably meant to do it like that.
