A bee on maple flowers

I can't believe I captured a honeybee (or any bee) so clearly in focus with my camera. :)

It's a Norway maple (Acer platanoides).

Gorgeous photos. I did not know that maple trees grew in Europe. Do you have maple syrup there? Even though it is a native product of North America, the real syrup as opposed to imitations is expensive. I keep a bottle of it in my fridge.

This maple species is native to Europe.

I don't know if it is now possible to buy any maple syrup here (it is not even a "thing" in my culture, but we now live in a global world after all). I don't think we even have the right maple species to produce the syrup. There are no sugar maples here to be sure; I have never seen one "in person".
