Proper snow. It makes everything so beautiful!

And I love the primitive snowman! We rarely have enough snow here for a real snowman, but maybe next time we have a whole two centimetres of snow, I can make a snowman like that.

I'm afraid it takes much more than 2 cm of snow to build this kind of snowman. :)

I regret not trying a snowman of my own because I thought the texture of the snow was wrong for that, after my bad experience last winter and after I saw somebody else's very unsuccessful attempt this year. And then my mother showed me a photo of my sister's little snowman on her phone... when the snow was already melting. So apparently there was some day on which the snow had begun to stick together more easily, but I missed that.

I did see other people's much bigger snowmen (let's hope that I have any half-decent photos of them for my next post), and one of them looked more like an ice-man, so I still wonder how it was made. And I once saw a guy repairing a slightly out-of-shape snowman with a car ice scraper, but I didn't try to photograph that.
