A butterfly in the wind

Photos from 30 October, a sunny but cold day with a very strong wind. We had already clearly transitioned from "almost summer" (at least during the warmest part of day) to "almost winter", so I'm afraid that butterfly didn't have much time left to live

Oh, that is so lovely!

Is it a Swallowtail? I've always wanted to see one, but in Britain they can only be found in one tiny area on the east coast.
