Hot and dry

We are having a serious heat wave here, with daily highs like 34 or 36C (roughly 93 to 97F). We still get realtively cool nights, probably as a result of the shorter days, but I don't like it how hot it was early this evening. I'm still afraid that we may again reach the point when the ground and buildings don't have the time to cool down properly

That is definitely too hot! We had a couple of those days this week, but it has gone back down to a mere 80-something. Still warmer than I like, but reasonable for July.
