Frozen lake, snow sparrows and snowdrop buds
Help, my snow is melting! :) I enjoyed the little break from the cold and the sun today, but I still have such a craving for snow! I'm just not ready for the winter to end.
So., I star with the photos of a little artificial lake next to a hotel complex in my home town. I very rarely went there in the past, but now I pass by it at least once a month on the way to the new office of the company I work for. There are even tiny boats in it, but of course it's the wrong season.
It was still very much frozen over.on 10 February when I took the photos. Where had all the frogs gone? :)

Sparrows on top of the snow at the bus stop, 12 February. How do they manage to stay on the surface? :)
I'm leaving this photo bigger on purpose, or you wouldn't see the tiny white flowers that are the snowdrops still in bud. They are the first flowers of the year here. Photo from 15 February.
