About ten years ago, before I was diagnosed diabetic, I was in the mall after Easter, and decided to drop in at See's Candy. Lo and behold, they had their scrumptious huge chocolate covered fudge or truffle Easter eggs on sale, half off. Half off!! I bought several (not saying how many) and ended up wrapping most of them in Saran Wrap and freezing them. Saved one out, nibbled at it for a few days until it disappeared. Waited until my next chocolate craving hit a few weeks later, then took one egg out and let it defrost. Ohh, what delights, mmmm, what satisfaction.
That worked for a few years, then one year I showed up and those eggs were all gone! The next year, disappeared by Tuesday after Easter! I asked what happened to them, the sales staff said people had started lining up at the store's doors before opening time Monday after Easter, and had snapped them all up.
Just as well. Can't really (or shouldn't) eat them now.
