(I drafted this entry before the events of September 8. See the relevant post for more details on that. Didn't want people connecting the two... which shows my state of mind since, I think.)

I wish I could give you advice. But the only thing I *demand* (lol) is that you poke your head in every once in awhile here or elsewhere so I can give a wave as you whiz by in your shiny new fandom mobile! :)

I'll be poking my head in here, for sure, it's just that I'm trying to make decisions on places like FanNation. How much do I get involved there? Do I want to take on the critique forum? I've already turned down a nomination for the featured story committee...

I guess it's a matter of tuning and putting a new paint job on my old fandom mobile! LOL!

On September 8, my kitty, Tika, was hit and killed by a car. I guess I didn't want people to think that her death was what spurred me to write the entry.

Odd, perhaps, but it made sense at the time.

OH! I was convinced that some fandom explosion happened... sorry! I think I missed that entry somehow, but I'm really sorry to hear that about your kitty :(

Thanks, Darsy.

Fandom explosion... I can see how my comment might sound as if one had happened. Sorry that it sounded that way. I'll edit a bit for clarity.

My fandom's usually pretty peaceful; the majority of explosions are onscreen (though there have been some off-screen doozies in the past). Now watch; I say it's peaceful and someone is going to blow up somewhere... ;P
