As the title states, the Girl took the second of her College Board tests - the ACT - yesterday. She said it wasn't quite as hard as the SAT and she was glad she didn't have to write an essay. Hubby had Friday and Saturday off as his regular days off,

The ACT is a far superior test to the SAT...

I hadn't heard that before; thanks for the insight.

The Girl has her sights set on Savannah College of Art and Design, and we're not sure which test scores they'd want - so she's doing both. Her portfolio will be of more importance, which will likely mean getting some of her artwork scanned with larger scanners than we have at home.

It's a good idea to do both, just 'cause most colleges do look at both. I've no idea if they value one over the other. I just know that, when it comes to test taking, the ACT is better...it's less tedious and repetitive than the SAT.

(I hated the SAT...and I had to take the thing twice...)
