"Dear Diary,
I have now spent one night and almost two days in the Bachelorette House. I don't know, how to describe this time. It has been exciting to meet the guys, but also nervous with the cameras and new people all around you. And it most certainly has been exhausting and draining, when the thought and stress of elimination has been hanging above our heads all the time. But let's start from the beginning...
The first glimpse of my bachelors, when they got out of the taxi, was very promising.
In fact I could not believe my luck!
I was all flushed: so much hotness!! Oh dear! But I had to calm down and be sensible. It was not wise to trust the first impressions. I was here to find a relationship to last my lifetime, not just a fleeting romance.
So, first we introduced ourselves:
I was glad that the production had taken into account my preferring family and knowledge sims. Since I'm looking for a life-time companion, I expect the bachelors to take this thing seriously, too! A primarily romance sim would have been eliminated asap!
I was so focused on the guys, I did not notice, that the beautiful morning had turned into rain. I could not help laughing, when I saw Mateo and Hector playing in the puddles, that had already started to form on the grass. Some guys just never seem to grow up!
It worried me a bit, when Troy and Justin seemed to have some kind of argument already, but to my relief I heard them soon agreeing. I think neither of them likes high heels on women. Luckily I was wearing my trusty, sensible loafers!
By this time, it was already raining quite heavily and I heard a distant sound of thunder, too. So I called out to the guys, and asked them to come in with me. I did not want anyone to catch cold.
When Morissey passed me, my knees suddenly felt quite week. He was so handsome with his firm and manly features. When he introduced himself earlier, I had also noticed his clear blue eyes under the bushy eyebrows. Surely that was enough to make a country-girl like me feel a bit dizzy!
Once inside Morissey headed right to the piano. Unfortunately his playing skills did not equal his looks! Justin and Matthew shared my disgust, but none of us dared to shoo Morissey off from the piano. We did not know each other that well yet.
The rain had developed into a lightning storm. Suddenly we heard a big crash, when a lightning struck somewhere near the house. Then we saw a scorched figure running in. It was Troy! Apparently he had foolishly stayed outside and got hit by lightning.
Troy ran straight to the bathroom upstairs and I followed him. I wanted to be sure he was alright. He laughed at his "little accident" (as he called it) and assured me there was nothing wrong with him. I was not so sure about that: really, who in the right mind would be so fool as to play in the puddles during a thunder storm! Shaking my head in disbelief I left him to clean up.
It was already noon and my stomach told me it was time for lunch. The production had provided us with catering, so we did not need to waste our time with cooking. And the buffet also eliminated the risk of kitchen fires. To me that seemed very wise considering, how foolish some guys already had behaved!
By the time I had taken out the salad, turkey and gele, some of the guys were already lining up to get something to eat. Soon Troy, who apparently had already cleaned up, joined us at the table.
We had a nice and relaxed discussion. But I was a bit embarrassed, when Butler turned up in his swimming trunks. It was not quite proper at this point, when we really did not know each other at all. But that did not seem to bother the others, so I did not say anything and tried to keep my eyes away from his bare body.
While I still was nervous and reserved in front of the cameras, the bachelors seemed to be quite relaxed with them. Not only did they show some skin (come to think or it, maybe The Producer had encouraged them to do that...), they had no inhibitions with their bodily functions either. Although I was embarrassed for Mateo, I still giggled with the others at Mateo's ehm...
While we were eating the guys took turn in "entertaining us" with the piano. It turned out that none of them really mastered the instrument. I suspect that they have seen my bio, where I reveal my preference to creativity. So far none has impressed me, though!
The food on the buffet was delicious. I had several plates of salad and the guys seemed to enjoy the meal, too. Mateo apparently is quite a gourmet! I've never seen anyone eat so much turkey! I could have warned him about the possible consequences, but he learned about them soon enough.
The eating and drinking had other consequences, too. Poor Morissey had a "little accident"! Well, the guys called him poor - I'm more inclined towards fool. A grown man with such poor bladder control, really!
With his tail between his legs Morissey quickly disappeared into the bathroom leaving a stinking puddle on the kitchen floor. Justin was kind enough to find a mop and clean after his friend. That was a definite plus for Justin!
Apparently Morissey felt really ashamed by his "accident" - and rightly so may I add - that he mostly kept to himself the rest of the evening. I learned from the filming crew, that the hidden cameras had even caught him crying. But somehow I still cannot feel really sorry for him. A grown guy should know when it's his time to go to the toilet!
The first evening we had no preplanned program, but The Producer suggested a small pool party. "The skin, the skin", Ms Bendett whispered to me with a wink. She also handed me the tiniest string bikini I've ever seen, but I declined to wear that. What would the folks back home think about seeing me half-naked on TV!
Wearing my old, decent swimsuit I went down to the pool, where Mateo was showing off his diving skills. (What do you think is pudgy figure does for the ratings, Ms Bendett?) I was impressed!
Impressed until Mateo hit his head really hard on the edge of the pool. That looked awful! I hurried to him fearing that half of his skull had been cut off. Or that he at least got a severe concussion.
But I need not have worried. Mateo just shook his head a little and assured me, that he was alright.
Some hard skull he got!
We spent the rest of teh evening in the pool. Mateo even managed to wear off that ring from his waist!
After a restless night - new bed and new experiences kept me awake long past midnight - I was woken by loud music streaming through my bedroom door. On my way downstairs I saw Justin jamming to some reggae music. His moves - oh I better not comment on them. I may just have to wipe that plus from his column.
I was wearing a sexy, silk nightie given to me by the producion with a suggestion of wearing it for the breakfast. Apparently the bachelors had been instructed in the same way, since most of them were scantily clad.
Even Morissey, who had stayed away from the pool, showed up. He apologized for his "accident" and told me it had haunted him all night. I assured him it was alright hoping to sound more certain than I really felt.
The guys still seemed intent to impress me with their creative skills. Matthew took a seat by the piano while Butler occupied the easel.
Oh, Matthew, you could not impress anyone!
But I must admit, dear diary, that he looked pretty hot in his tighty-whities. (*blushes*)
After dressing-up I returned to the kitchen to clear the table to find that Mateo still had not been able to restrain his appetite for the turkey. Oh why can't these guys behave like responsible adults and restrain theri urges!
Mateo promptly headed to the pool and managed to shake off that fat quite easily.
I still must remember to warn him of the dangers of yo-yo dieting.
At noon we all gathered into the ceremony room - a little separate cottage at the back of the lot - for the "rose ceremony". It was my wish that there were no roses, because I'd feel foolish giving a flower to a guy!
I was at my wit's end trying to figure out, who to send packing: I felt really attracted to six of these guys, and Troy, whom I found least attractive, was already feeling like a friend to me. I felt it was too soon to make an educated decision, so I acted on just instinct.
I sent Morissey Doe packing!
I already started to doubt my decision when he hugged me and held me tight. Feeling his muscular, masculine body against mine sent shivers all over me. Oh, why must he be so attractive, so sexy!
But a long-term relationship is based on trust, and how can you trust a man who cannot even control his own bodily functions!?
But why, dear diary, I'm still so uncertain? I cannot shake away the fear, that I made a big mistake with Morissey Doe. Was I right to base my judgment on one stupid incident? Should I have trusted my first impressions of him in stead? What if I turned away the love of my life? Oh God, I'm feeling so awful right now...
Oh, I hope that I had not even taken on this Bachelorette Challenge! I wish I was at home surrounded by all my familiar things! This is so hard... I really did not get a chance to know him.
Oh, I'm such a mess, so I'll better end this rambling for the day and go to bed. Though I doubt I'll be able to sleep a wink with all these thoughts racing through my head...
Good night, dear diary."
The final score after day 1 showed Troy in the lead closely followed by Mateo. Mr Doe was eliminated, although he has the best chemistry with our Bachelorette. Hector had better shape up or he'll be in danger next!

Notes:
- The bachelors were chosen by their hair colour and aspiration: I wanted to have two of each hair colour in the house (because Queenie is blonde, there is only one blond bachelor) and a family sim and a knowledge sim with each hair colour. In addition to this, I wanted sims whom I found attractive and interesting-looking. :) So no nr1 templates there (although Justin may be close to that)!
- All character have their original aspirations and stats, if they were provided(if not, I rolled them randomly) with one exception: Butler is originally pleasure/family, but I reversed it, cause I just had to have in the game (such a cutie)!
- I chose to give the bachelors the same turn ons and offs.
- I did not control the bachelors and had very little control over Queenie and did not control her interactions with the guys at all, so the end result was quite random.
- I restarted the game after two days in the house, because I had forgotten to delete all characters from the hood as I intended to do. Because of this, you may notice some inconsistence with the clothes etc during the first two days. I hope it does not bother too much.
