What happened to the GACKT fandom I joined tree, four years ago? Where is the sharing, the translations, the discussions.... Where are the things that made this fandom so much fun...Hmmmm.... IDK..... All lost when LJ lost it's priority in the fandom circles? Or did people just get boring? Did I get boring... IDK....

Yeah.. You can spread stuff really fast on tumblr, but the pic quality mediocre is and it's hard to find out where they are from since noone seems to source anthing...:/ Not to say tumblr is actually made so people can only shout at others, just push your opinion on them. You can't really have a convo there...:(

And twitter is just too.. momentary...

it's mainly because LJ died. Twitter and tumbler came alive. Which is a shame - conversations on LJ were far more meaningful than they can ever be on the other two places.

Yeah.. Twiter is too fleeting and more for everyday life not fandom discussions... And tumblr is.. Well tumblr... Orz

I only see the same people on Twitter that I see on here (I can't stand Twitter). I only browse around Tumbler, people don't talk much there either. Mostly pics.
I think it died down the most after the megaupload issues.
My reasons for not sharing much anymore are because of my arm.

Well twitter is meant for everyday, not for fandoms...:( And yeah oo MU made filesharing a lot more difficult... Links get deleted more and so on... A lot more work now... But it was also at the time LJ had all those difficulties.. And then G went to Twitter and everyone followed...:(

Well I'll ad that there is also a lot more censorship in the fandom now.. And it's pretty heavily enforced... So people usually just stay siled or share in a very closed off circle of very close friends. And it's not the first time in the fandom either... But back then I was not a fan yet.. and then I joined in "Renaissance"(:P) so this what we have now is a bit stiffing...

I do miss Dears LJ.... It was a pretty big source of everything G for me.... I joined LJ just because the GACKT fandom was so strong there... Now it's scattered everywhere....

I also noticed that newer fans do have trouble accessing quality G stuff... Especially older materials... Cuz YT or tumblr are far from good quality... And while some think that would bring people, to buy stuff personally I wouldn't. What tells me the original is not equally crappy? I miss MegaUpload...lol

And I could rant on endlessly, but I think I said enough..lol
