Aww, thank you! I had a very good time writing this way back last, like, February and March. (Yes, that's how long it's been sitting on my HD. I was going to do this whole year in the life thing, but then I fell in love with Brendon and Cash and that story took over my brain and... yeah
( ... )
This was great! I found this 'verse while searching for Cash/Brendon, and gobbled it all up, so I was really pleased when I realized this story was set here.
I love that Spencer was initially skeptical, because he doesn't strike me as an especially frat-like guy. And I liked that he wasn't won over by the idea of being Greek, but by the idea of being FBR.
I had a lot of fun reading this. Thanks for sharing!
This verse is totally and completely a self-indulgent place for me and I've had the most fun ever writing it. It wasn't originally going to be a B/C story, but then I had one little inkling of an idea and the next thing I knew, I'd written something like 20,000+ words in snippets of the two of them. *sigh*
Anyway, yes. I'm really glad you enjoyed this one! Spencer's story was originally the one I wanted to tell in this 'verse--this was going to be the start of something much, much longer--because you're right, he was never going to have the life-long dream of being a frat boy. But he would, of course, be an awesome FBR brother.
Oh maaaaaaaaan - am I GLAD to see this 'verse showing up again! As much as I adore watching the Brendon/Cash story, seeing it from Spencer's side was a joy. I liked how he progressed from being adamantly against GreekLife to not wanting to be anywhere else =)
I'll always take more of this 'verse, whatever there is of it! Thank you so MUCH for putting this up tonight.
i absolutely adore this 'verse SOSOSO MUCH. I love that you wrote this side because I love to hear how PRESIDENT Brendon got to where he is :D:D:D:D infinite love for this and all things frat-tastic.
I don't know if there will be a more Cab-centric story (I sort of got stuck on Brendon/Cash and haven't been able to look beyond them), but maybe someday!
