I LOVE THIS.

And heck, I haven't been to P-Town in probably a decade, maybe more? It's a great place to travel solo as a woman because nobody bothers you ;)

Very true! I wore a ring on a chain around my neck, given to me by a fictional girlfriend, both as a (totally unnecessary) deterrent and as a reminder to myself to focus on why I was there and not get involved in romantic flings as a way to avoid the feelings I was there to deal with. What an adventure! This was a great entry. I’ve learned how to be alone several times over, making big moves and I’m finally at a place where I’m okay with not having many friends.
