It's what time? Damn...
.I meant to spend the afternoon writing my Idol entry, or at least figuring out what it's going to be - but got distracted wandering around OK Cupid for the past hour and a half instead. I wasn't even doing anything useful - just browsing profiles and questions and judging people in the shallowest way possible, by their usernames and photos. Sometimes I'm not a nice person!
I'm going out tonight, so that leaves about three hours for writing, between Idol and thewritinggame... neither of which is likely to get finished if I know me, since I don't even have an idea for either one.
Speaking of thewritinggame, since I've ended up posting my entries on my journal and will probably continue to do so unless someone can suggest somewhere else to put them, two points of interest: one, I apologize for the friendslist clutter to those of you who aren't interested in random, prompt-based, first-draft scribbles hastily posted. Due to the way the community is set up, everything has to be posted on a public setting so the others who aren't on our friends list can read them - or else I'd put them on a filter. Two, those who are interested are more than welcome to read and comment/critique. It's actually a little depressing to spend a few hours frantically trying to complete a story by the deadline, only to get zero comments on it. I'm still happy with the story (both of them, actually - here and here) but we wouldn't all be on LJ if we didn't like feedback and discussion!
Off to do something productive with my day! Or maybe take a nap... TTFN!
