Several of the things you mentioned are part of why I think I lost my love for the show. Some of the story lines were horrible!

And I never did like Gabrielle (always seemed to be whining about something), but I loved Ares though.

Kevin Smith was obviously having SO MUCH FUN as Ares.

I'm mostly meh about Gabrielle. As to the storylines... I'm just wondering if the writers ever talked about the timeline AT ALL.
