What usually works for me is quiet time and relaxation, particularly with water, like in a long shower, soaking in the tub, or floating if you've got a quiet lake somewhere. Good luck!
Do the things you want to be motivated for, even if you don't feel it. Get the good feedback/responses/productivity and that'll jump-start the motivation cycle.
I think I may have found a roundabout way to return to the project and I'm actually feeling a bit hopeful for it. Which, considering I've felt absolutely nothing but dread every time I've looked at the thing for half a month, is awesome in and of itself.

Now that my knee is finally better, I'm thinking of taking up daily walks again, which might help. I've also gone back to poetry, a little.
