I notice that Blaine seen from this POV seems to have some sort of distance from Kurt that he isn't able to cross yet everything also shows that he cares and loves Kurt passionately.
I can picture what the 'shivering' feels like (sort of like a buzzing blur).
And I kind of want to see how Kurt can find peace about his change, and of course how they adjust to another, kind of new, life. :)

Loved it <3<3

The shivering inside Kurt's head is actually how my migraines feel sometimes. I just didn't want him to use the canon terminalogy of 'buzz' because he wouldn't know that yet.

I want to write Kurt meeting Methos, so there may be more forthcoming.

Thank you for reading!

It would definitely be interesting to see that (and also have a chance to see what Methos thinks about it).
¨
And like ptijade has said below, I too at least a little want to see what the people left behind might think (I think it's likely that Kurt and Blaine didn't take all their stuff with them to their new life.)

(I'm glad that Kurt didn't end up hating and resenting Blaine about this, though no doubt this start will be a slightly hurting memory in the future years)

I'm pretty sure Methos will put things in perspective for Kurt - it really could've gone a lot worse.

Oh god, this is heartbreaking. Oh Kurt (oh BURT!), you poor kid. I loved seeing how he slowly realized something was wrong and his horror at what Blaine had done to him (without asking)

Omg I used to love Highlander as a kid and this was such a great skillful way of crossing over
Blaine is kinda perfect for the role you cast him in - that confidence almost beyond his years, the veneer of perfection, being put together (dapper) and then the really OOC behaviors, the mysterious non-mention of his past, all explained so nicely by the fact he's immortal and that was just a little drop in the inkwell of who he is
Then Kurt as pre-immortal, the inclusion of Teenage Dream, Kronos and Methos, and omgosh other details --- <3

Thank you for writing this, I want more now but that in no way means this isn't perfect just as

Thank you so very much!

I tried to keep everything as canon as possible, and we really do know so little about Blaine. (Of course, then season 3 started, and that threw a tiny wrench into my sequel here.)

As to Kronos... he sort of piped up and said, "Hey, if Methos is involved, I should be too."

And I do want to write Kurt meeting Methos, so there could be another part.

You're welcome
Hmm even with s3 I think the story works - Blaine so acts like he is his own agent, with money and time to spare. I mean he just, transfers like no big deal ;) I say he's immortal

Oh my - Methos and Kurt together? That would be kind of beautiful

I just keep imagining Methos being all like, well, you know you have the same range as a friend of mine, and Kurt being all, huh really, can I meet him, and then the old man is like, sorry, he died 400 years ago

... he does seem to kind of do what he wants. And he totally owned the Warblers.

Wonderful. I love that Blaine doesn't quite fit who he's supposed to be and that Kurt is willing to call him on his actions.
