Actually I think Dean has been possessed by a demon... I think I remember him going after Jo early in the series and he and Sam getting their anti-possession tattoos shortly after that. It's been a while though so it's possible I'm remembering wrong.
Sam got possessed and went after Jo in Born Under a Bad Sign, which was mid-S2, and the first we hear of the anti-possession tattoos is Jus in Bello, which is late S3.
Dean has never been possessed by either Angel or Demon. In fact prior to turning into a vampire, supposedly he's never been influenced/become the vessel of or become a supernatural creature.
I guess technically if he wasn't a permanent vampire or didn't "hurt" anyone while he was - maybe he's kind of impervious to it or has some innate repelling factor for it. Hehe.
I'm pretty sure I've written a couple things with that idea, but I've written so much... I don't even know where to begin looking. (Well, besides my 'supernatural' tags.)
No, but there was that dream episode where in one dream he met his demon-possessed self ('this is what you will become!'), which was both frightening and sexy.
I agree with the others the Dean has never been possessed/"vesselled" - whatever you'd call it - but he is the person for whom two people (John W and Bobby S) who were possessed at least successfully - if briefly - fought off demon possession. And I don't recall seeing that at any other point in the story. Although, if this is an "issue" - Sam did not fight off a demon while he was possessed and attacking Dean.
