The White Collar one is ow-wow(!); and I think the Charmed one is right on target. It must have been hard for him to deal with these unreasonable people who just wouldn't do what was necessary/practical, because they weren't the people he knew, exactly.
I'd love to see more fics where the Charmed bunch go forward in time for a little visit, and see the reality he had to deal with, and gain some understanding. It reminds me of how the upper class British used to act in WWII (and other wars) when the subject of sabotage came-not sporting, not being a gentleman, etc etc (meanwhile, the guys in the trenches were dying by the thousands, and the spies and agents in the field kept it from being even worse, and were looked down on). Also, Terminator-future. Mush all that together, and stir in demons/magic/etc, and you get a...paranoid, neurotic, lying-to-you-for-your-own-good Witchlighter, eh?
I can imagine how frustrated Chris must've been because he was coming from the worst-case scenario and trying his best, and they just kept blocking him at every turn.
I've seen a couple good sisters-going-to-the-future fics, but most were pretty bad, which saddens me.

I wish some of the comms would have some writing challenges, and pimp themselves. There's not even much done for Yuletide.
