I so love Missouri. I can only vaguely guess at who or what she is in this imagining, but I so much love the care and compassion in this. Truthfully, I'm hungry for it. This season - so damn hard.
Honestly, I'm not sure what Missouri is here. I'm thinking she might be a vessel for Life itself, but instead of trying to figure it out, I left it to the reader.
She's a linchpin between worlds who could have helped *everyone* fight evil -- and who could have openly loved Dean. He and Bobby can have a father-son relationship because the ages are right; Missouri could have recharged his soul instead of that splendid thing being left to flounder in pain and alone.
The power in her is something that Sam needed to have been exposed to and trained how to use in himself.
Finally, I can't believe she had no greater part to play in the Apocalypse than threatening to sic a wooden spoon on someone.
Very very cool. There's something so alluring about Missouri's character. You're absolutely justified in wanting to create a more significant role for her in the story-arc. I'd love to see her come back.

You have NO idea how much it was needed.
It could have been very different with Missouri.
