Ah. That makes sense.

Sometimes, I get in the mood for HP fanfic(usually dark and about Draco/Harry, or powerful!independent!Harry getting out from under Dumbledore's thumb, 'cause I HATE that dude) and scour ff.net. They have loads of actual GOOD HP fic, which is shocking, compared to some of the SN offerings over there. But I've only read the books once.

Remus as the Winchesters' uncle? Cool idea. I wonder how they're going to warm to him. And their houses. Dean's more on the Hufflepuff/Gryffindor side, with Slytherin a slight possibility, and Sam more on the Ravenclaw/Slytherin side.
I also wonder what years will you have them in. Canonically, Dean (born 1979) is one year older than Harry (born 1980) and Sam (born 1983) is three years younger. But fanfiction plays with these time things all the time.
