Naturally, I'm always excited about THURSDAY! But the fact that I pretty much haven't left the house since last THURSDAY! (due to the polar ice caps taking up residence in my neighborhood streets) makes anything that is new, different, or even slightly worth getting excited about even MORE exciting!
Normally, I might prefer a fun, snarky, prank-pulling, smirky Dean (not that YOU would have anything like that hanging around) - you know, to get in the appropriate celebratory THURSDAY! mood.
But, given that our icy conditions would prevent hunting/driving or anything of that nature, slightly wounded is far better. We can play music really loud and watch bad movies and eat junk food and sit by the fire and he can clean guns and make silver bullets and sharpen knives and I can ... watch!
(Naturally, I wouldn't mind having him curled up on the couch, under a blanket and bring him soup and homemade cookies - but you said didn't say "two-broken-legs Dean" or "sucking-chest-wound Dean" so, THAT plan wouldn't last long.)

Oh, sorry about the ice caps. I'll offer you a slightly wounded Dean to look after. Does that help?
