I'm sure most of you reading this have seen Kitka's post already, but I fractured a small bone in my left foot and it's been making life quite the challenge lately. I found out last Friday and was ordered to stay off of the foot completely. Sorry to hear about all this shite, hon! I hadn't heard about your foot before, but I think Kitka has never added me to her friends list. *shrugs* Anyway, I hope you feel better soon.

I don't know if it's possible, but have you ever considered working from home? My sister-in-law is a massage theorapist and converted a room in her basement into her work room. She painted it and hung soothing pictures, has some candles and soothing music (timed for different length massages) as well. Could something like that work for you?

As for your Chiro, perhaps you need to be blunt with the woman and remind her out-right that you agreed to exchange services, and if she's changed her mind 1) she should have notified you of that, and 2)you'll be happy to send her the bills for the work YOU'VE done for HER family already. Some people are stupid, others are forgetful and most will try to get away with whatever they can...

This is the first I've heard about your toe. :( Ouch! I hope you heal soon. I'm sorry work is being such a hassle! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you for a new job and a healing toe!

Thanks everyone! The foot/toe is doing better. The "boot" is a pain but makes life easier!
I'm on the look out for a new place to practice, and I'm also in the middle of putting together a letter to the Chiro. to ask for a reduction in rent. After mesureing the room this weekend, we figured out that I'm paying her $30 per square foot! OUCH!
