the aging process

Yesterday, I turned another year older, but still not any wiser. When does wisdom begin? Sometimes I still feel like that lost little girl blowing out her birthday candles. Or that teenager without hope for the future and a deep pain that it took me years to fully understand. For much of my "adult" life I've felt like those two people, I just ping- ( Read more... )

Happy belated birthday... I am sorry you are feeling like you aren't much older... I am sure you have the wisdom, you are a very wise person, maybe it just doesn't seem like you have anymore, because any new wisdom is a gradual thing and not sudden.

I am glad you got to go out yesterday for a bit, and it helped with the feeling you were experiencing... hope the feeling goes away completely.

I am glad your family wasn't hit by the tornadoes, those sounded scary.

Hope things become less jumbled ::hugs::

Thanks hun. You're probably right. Wisdom is probably something you only recognize upon reflection of past events. That's probably when you say to yourself "that was wise".

It has, for the most part. It was just really heavy at the time. Posting here usually helps me through those times.

Tornados really do scare me. :(

Probably. I doubt we ever realize we are. It's probably just the people around us that see it.
