Out with the old, in with the new?

I've persuaded Kate & Holly that they can pass on their outgrown garden toys, so I've just listed the playhouse, little tykes kitchen & frog shaped sandpit in freecyle. I'm sad to see the sandpit & kitchen go, as Kate has had them since she was a baby. They go can to another family & be enjoyed again though ( Read more... )

They replied & said it was deadline yesterday, not true as I recall looking at the calendar to see when the 1 July actually was. Oh well, it wasn't meant to be obviously. Chances are anyway that teh job had all ready gone to someone connected to the school, but they have to legally advertise it.

Your girls are good passing on their toys. My dd who is 10, still plays with her Little Tykes kitchen!

Did you get your application in before they removed the advert?

I'd keep it all if we had more room & Holly does still play with the kitchen, am feeling guilty now :/

No, didn't apply, I'd scheduled it for this afternoon when I had some time to myself.

Oh gosh, don't feel guilty! We all have a LARGE emotional attatchment to our toy kitchen. It was dd's 2nd birthday present, we weren't expecting her to live to be two. We bought it for her because it was her favourite toy in the hospital playroom :D I expect we will still have it when we have grandchildren!

That is a shame about the job, obviously not meant to be :( Fingers crossed there is something better just around the corner.
