When I read through anything of mine that's older than six months, I am mortified. Especially since now, while I love reading the occasional fluffiness, I need some real things thrown in. I'm not going to get into that. I just don't know if I should keep up what I already have or if I should take it all down (like I really want to). I have people ( Read more... )

I say go ahead and post the finished chapters. Like you said, there are people who have added those fics to their favorites - just because you're mortified when you read them doesn't mean they are. Plus, you'll have that feeling of accomplishment for those fics finally being over and done with. You don't ever have to read them again if you don't want to.

That said, I understand what you're feeling. I debated for a long time whether or not to repost all of my older fics when my board format archive went down, because they're... Ugh. I've grown as a writer since then, so to me, they're embarrassing. I finally decided to repost them, though, just because I knew some people like them even if I don't.

Ultimately, it's your decision, though. I look forward to seeing what you come up with for Barty Crouch Jr.!

Ok, fine, but I reserve the right to completely cut out the end.

As for the BC/HG fic, well, I have a very vague outline. But, that's more than I sometimes have.
