Excited for the new school year!

We had a meeting today to introduce the high school teachers to the new modified block schedule. It is exciting to see the changes coming. Due to the fact that one of my classes is a middle school class, which won't be on block, I have some differences between the two schedules from the other teachers. I hope you enjoy the block! I'll be on it in September too, having all 9th graders. There are definite pros and cons just like any other schedule. The biggest thing that sucks is not having a prep every other day.

By the way, does your school do a Washington D.C. trip for the 8th graders?

Yes. It used to be an every other year trip, so the 8th and 9th graders go. Now they are changing it to only 8th grade, every year. Guess who would go??? :)
