There's only so many times you can draw momentum vectors and get them... slightly off before you realise that at some point, you're going to just have to wing it and hope that it all turns out okay in the end. Right*sighs

I've been a member of the debating team for a while, and I have dabbled in netball and out-of-school dancing (the early morning games kind of ruined that plan...) - but I'm a lazy, lazy girl who values her TV time and her lunchtimes too much. That's fine - I've made my choice, even if I regret it later. I do mind being forced to go and support my peers under some misguided attempt to teach us school spirit, you know? Haven't people learned that some things - like cooperation and spirit - can't be forced? I just feel like they're interfering even more in our lives to mold us to be and think a certain way... Oh, ignore me. I'm in biology doing questions on carbohydrates (yeah, about as interesting as it sounds) and I need to rant. :P
By the way - I LOVE your icon! *squees* Totally cheered me up - thanks Kallie :)
Yes - the only thing that is keeping me alive at school is that all is the thought of university - that eventually, I'll be getting out and actually doing something. A fresh start. Freedom. A new beginning. *sighs melodramatically*
Aw, thanks. You know that I'll always return the favour... It'll be good getting to know you, Kallie - I think a little while after I friended you, you went to work, so I haven't seen that much of you ;) I do like biology, in theory. Unfortunately not so much in practice. *sighs* It's modern history at the moment... I swear our history teacher is the reincarnation of Karl Marx or something. Not a real big fan of the US. :) Perhaps I should tune in... what are we discussing today? We're discussing the ulterior motives of organisations such as NATO and SEATO (economic imperialism, the domino theory yada yada yada...)

"Jennifer and Jesse are consummate professionals," Edelstein told PEOPLE at the In Style 7th annual Summer Soiree in Beverly Hills on Thursday. "They really have never brought their relationship onto the set to begin with, so they're not bringing their breakup onto the set either."
Despite the broken engagement, Edelstein was hopeful that the relationship may not be beyond saving. "I don't even know if they're actually broken up or they're just not getting married as planned," said Edelstein. "They're beautiful people, and they're good friends, and I really think that it's all going to be okay."

*sulks* STILL. They were going to be married... and he proposed to her in Paris!! *shoves romantic back into the box where she belongs* I feel a LITTLE bit better. At least they are still friends and aren't doing the whole public-media-spat thing, entertaining though that is. I'd lose my respect for them. :P
I love the fact Lisa is discussing this with People though. *rolls eyes*

Re: to make you happy(er)tigger_01August 23 2007, 13:31:41 UTC
Can you really blame Hilz though? Her and Joel split and he goes off with anorexic Nicole Ritchie and now they're having a kid. That's enough to piss anyone off. If you ask me, it would've turned out much better if she'd gone out with Chad Michael Murray or Frankie Muniz or something.
Uni not really better???

YOU DON'T GET NEIGHBOURS ANYMORE? *grins* Oh, poor you. But honestly - you aren't missing much, hon. They've gone for this whole "new generation" exciting-action type thing with a new cast - again. I'll watch some on the hols and let you know, hm?
*hugs* My LJ girls are the best - seriously. Most people at my school are so "school-spirit-YAY!" that it freaks me out - they don't really want to leave school
( ... )
Ew, that sounds kind of narsty. In the old days, I was still waiting for half the characters to leave because I thought they were only temporary (damnit, they weren't...).
Ooh, I bet you can't wait to graduate! Hee. I'm going to Leicester Uni which is about 45 minutes away (twenty minutes is you drive really really fast...) and I *hearts* it. Really really badly. Hee.
