I think there's something wrong with me. Why is it that I can never allow myself to be perfectly content and happy? Why can I never just... be?
Like today. I've had a good, relaxed weekend - last night I saw the Bourne Identity (which I loved. OMG. OMG. OMG!!!!!!! I have to go and watch the next two...) and today I've done a bit of chem, but mostly ( Read more... )

Saw the first FIVE minutes and was reminded of why I HATE it... haha.
It was supposed to be some kind of pathetic attempt at Bollywood, anyway. I was so disappointed - Bend it like Beckham was so damn funny, you know?

Oh really? I need to see an Audrey Hepburn movie with you - you can come over and wtach it with me :P

No, why would I get ThursdaY? Wish I did, anyhoo. :P

OMG really? Good LUCK. And I LIKE the word funness! Tell her to be creative and stop allowing other people to direct her speech. ;P

Dark chocolate. Yum. !!!

And omg you can totally get on here and write stuff - I love the fact you read it! :P

Ah, Bride and Prejudice. I hate it so much. Not because it was trying to Bollywood, but because it was trying to be indian and failing OH-SO-MISERABLY! I know that! And I'm not even Indian!!!! Indian's everywhere should be offended by the film!

The last time it came on tv, I began to translate it into mirpuri panjabi and oh, even my randomness was better than the crappy English script. There wasn't even a word of bleeding Hindi/Panjabi/Urdu. Stupid film.

See, the thing is - Gurindher Chadha is Indian - but this time, she tried to change it for a Western audience, y'know?
I just HATED it all - the way somethings were ridiculed and the way that she was all like "i love my country despite it's flaws" - it was all so fake and tried to be something it was not, and I don't know. I hated it. But I'm glad to know you were offended on my behalf *hugs*

No Punjabi? Wasn't it SET in Amritsar? Whatever.
I saw the Bourne Identity on Friday night and THAT kept me happy enough for the weekend. :P
