So, I stuck a blunted craft knife into the end of my thumb last night. Seriously gushing as well. Not so great when I have a tendancy to faint at the sight of blood, but I was surprisingly OK about it, so I guess the adrenaline was working in my favour. It took ages to stop - made a right mess of the first plaster I put on it

Housewife-fu trick that Dylan taught me on how to make plasters stick to the ends of fingers: Snip the sticky bit of the plaster in half lengthways up to the white pad bit, sit the pad over the wound, then cross the two halves of the sticky over each other on either side (like they were crossing thier legs). Won't unpeel and fall off that way.

And there probably will be a "next time" quite soon, knowing me :)

I hope that you have made a full recovery by now.

Are there any photos of your creations online? I'm curious as to see the results.

There will be once I get a decent digi-camera, but it's all staying hush-hush at the moment. Will do a grand reveal after Demon...(if I can get said camera/decent pictures etc)
