Dear all,

I have no money. The same is probably true of you lot, more or less. As a consequence, I will not be giving any Christmas presents to anybody, and I do not expect or want any for myself. Hugs make for a fine replacement, in my experience. *hint hint*

I honestly don't care if people don't get me anything, but can I still give you a mix disc (+hugs!) if I promise not to give you anything else? I'll be buying a stack of discs anyway and I so enjoy sharing music.. :P

I was just reading an article about the Christmas in Ecuador, though. They do this really clever thing. Sort of like a Secret Santa thing. Everyone gets one person which they are supposed to be really nice to in the days leading up to Christmas. On Christmas everyone then play-acts their person while the others guess who it is. And they give their person a gift. That way everyone gives and gets one gift and it's a fun game. :P
