my knife skills need improvement

I cut a hunk off my finger at work on Sunday. I'm missing a third of my nail and some meat off the side. Got it taped up real good and it stopped bleeding sometime in the night. still can't bend the finger real well and it only hurts when I bump it on something..or the baby hits it with a spoon. nope no doctor because there was no way to stitch it shut, and nothing to glue back on, I had all ready thrown my gloves in the trash. Got my boss to help tape it up nice and tight and went back to chopping onions.
