Update on Maria

Maria had her surgery yesterday, she came thru ok, she is now in ICU for a couple of days and the
she will be moved to another room.  She will be in the hospital for about a week

So i realize this is almost two years later for everyone else, but i am just finding out. Has there been any more news? Are you okay Maria?

Sad news

I regret to share this news, but Maria passed away on 9/15/07. She never fully recovered from the surgery she had, and there were some other complicating issues as well.

I knew her in "real life" and although she was surrounded by warm and loving family relationships, she also felt her online friends were family as well. I know she would wish you would have been informed sooner.

She had a lovely funeral that was well-attended by family, friends and former coworkers.
