That's so sad! But that sort of thing happens, so it's realistic. I love that this didn't cause a rift between them and that Veronica admitted she wanted to stay married :-)

I thought they could bond over the loss of a child they didn't really know exsisted.

I also thought it could bring up the fact that deep down Veronica would like a child but she's afraid to hope for one.

Next chapter is set in romantic Italy
