Blizzard yesterday. Power out since ~4pm. Posting from a Dunkin Donuts in the next town. Need to figure out how to cook the food in the freezer with no electricity to power the stove/oven. We were able to get a small charcoal grill from Sears for $25, and we got to most of the meat in the freezer before it spoiled. We also got a bunch of peanut butter and tuna fish to eat until the power comes back on... which they're projecting will happen sometime within a week. That's as much of an estimate as we've gotten. They've got tree crews coming in from out-of-state to get the power lines back up, apparently. I'm posting from the library in the next town (their wifi is finally back on), since I'm just kind of assuming that the Meriden library doesn't have power. We're warm enough, as long as we dress in layers. We've got three blankets on the bed, which is nice and snuggly (though it makes it hard to get out of bed in the mornings). We'll live; it's just really annoying, and I have to schedule my writing since it involves leaving the house, which is not how procrastinator-me is accustomed to doing NaNo. Blarg. So yeah, probably don't expect to see me online for a few days more. >_
