Today we will be making this icon



Open this image of the Taj by Regien Paassen from shutterstock



Open your base image



Go to image >> adjustment >> match colour

Go down to where it says source and select Taj by Regien Paassen shutterstock (or whatever you renamed the file)

Set Luminance to 80



Open texture 1 >> set to overlay

Open new layer >> set it to screen

Select the soft edge round brush >> size 83 >> opacity %100

Select colour #ff0101 (The very brightest red in the top right of your palet)

Hover the brush so it is in the center of the icon >> click twice to add your red glow.

Open texture 2



Move your red blob arround in the picture till you find the place you think it looks best.

Open texture 3 >> Set to colour dodge
