Tiger & Bunny Timeline of events

Hey all! I've been fiddling with this timeline over the course of the series and now that everything is wrapped up and I was able to fill in as many dates as I could, I figured it was about time to share it. All the information is under the cut!

Pretty similar to the timeline I've been building. I'm just avoiding putting the other heroes' approximate birth years on mine because it gets too confusing without knowing their exact ages.

Seriously, can't we get some birthdates in the Gossips book or something?

Ah, I should've known you guys over at This is Sternbild would be working on one. I was doing this entirely independently so it's good to see that everything lines up about the same!

I know! But, I just couldn't stand leaving them out so I tried to guess. But since it is just guessing, I decided to I separate it out into its own section

We've done some guessing of ages in another post but some of the heroes are rather hard to determine. Like Nathan for example.

Yah, Nathan is... yah. I assumed slightly younger than Kotetsu? It's just so hard to tell....

I was always thinking about Kotetsu's age. I mean it would be awesome if he was near 40, but I find it hardly possible if you consider an apx. age of when you start a family. My guess is he could have Kaede somewhere up to 25 which gives him 34-35 at most (to a 24-year-old person a 30+ is an old one XD) but it's been said that he is in his late thirties. Thirties is a third decade of your life right? So that would make him 29 maybe??? That's not that old

Officially, yes, he is in his 30's. Generally, I see him as somewhere around 35~37 at the start of the series.

I made Ivan older than Karina since he is depicted as having graduated from school while she is still clearly attending high school, even in the final epilogue.

I based Rotwang's age on that of his contemporary, Emily Brooks. He might be a smidgen older or younger, but he is right in that ballpark. Same thing with Maverick, he had to be contemporary with Legend and the Brooks but I skewed older with him.

Actually even though I knew it, it completely slipped my mind. Yes, Ivan is a grad. So all the fanarts making Ivan and Paolin the youngest are totally off XD But maybe it was a special school? The one you end when you're errr. 15? xD naaaah.

I always though they paired them off because they are the youngest of their respective sexes.

But I think it was pretty common to think that Ivan was older than Karina anyway.

This is great, and I will definitely use it, along with the one that the Sternbilt group put together.

One little nit: I would've pegged Kriem as someone in her mid-late twenties when Jake was released, maybe 5 - 8 years older than Karina. She was still a schoolgirl when he kidnapped her, possibly even in middle school from the sound of how people around her had treated her. Also, that obsession with stuffies, or even with Jake himself - those are things which tend to get dropped as too much baggage as women age (not that she's a shining example of emotional and mental health and stability.)

To put it in perspective, Agnes Joubert would be about 35 - 40. The personal power, ability to figure out what's what and the difference in self-confidence is quite telling.

Hmmm, that is a very good point about Kriem. I assumed about 15 for her age at the time of her kidnapping, but she could conceivably be younger. My guesses for the ages of characters are entirely my own estimates and can be completely disregarded if you so choose.

And now I feel bad for leaving out Agnes! *decides to go add her in*

I've pegged Kriem as a few years older than Kaede when she's kidnapped. 11-12 most likely. She'd still be over 30 when she died.

There's also the thing where people in anime don't really act their age, either. In that world, you would probably run into 30-year-olds collecting stuffed toys and dressing up as Gothlollies all the time (as regular day-to-day wear, not cosplay.)

But I think there's no way she's just a year younger than Tiger. There's too much of a difference.

I always thought Yuri would have been younger or the same age as Kotetsu -- IIRC, Legend got pretty paunchy toward the end there, and Tiger at least remembers him as fit (and probably more positive than he would be about the whole Hero business if he hadn't been losing his powers).

But Legend had to die within that last 15 or so years and Yuri looked he wasn't older than 15-16 when he accidentally killed him. So at oldest, Yuri could be 31-32 at the start of the series.

Although even if he was Kotetsu's age, it's still absurdly young for the position he holds as a Judge.

I'd thought he'd looked younger than that in the flashbacks. OH HEAVENS, I'VE FOUND MYSELF HAVING TO REWATCH CANON AGAIN. WHAT A DAMN PITY.

I always thought Kotetsu was older than Yuri. Not a lot older, but 2 or 3 years at least, even if I really don't have any precise basis for this assumption.
Whatever Yuri's age may be, he's really too young for his position. That makes me wonder how he got there.
