It's so good to have an update from you! Seems like most things are pretty good up in P-dam. I am super intrigued by your summertime apprenticeship and learning about herbs. It sounds so cool. You'll have to keep me updated on what you learn-- maybe there are some herbs that I should be growing in a kitchen garden right now! Congrats to your sister on her pregnancy (she's due sometime in Oct/Nov?)! How exciting!
I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you and Rob to find some clarity when it comes to future plans-- I know how hard it is to NOT know what may go on in the future and IF/WHEN you'll be able to find a job (not personally, but Jake has has some rough times). I'm hoping that you both have an easy time of it! Best of luck on your juice fast; I tried it once and didn't have the willpower to stick with it. ;-p
sounds like you are super busy! I like the herbal medicine approach. I don't take medicine unless I absolutely have to, so I'm excited to hear about what you learn.
And I hear you on the annoying grad classes (and undergrad students). You'll get through it though. Most of what I learned about teaching was in my practicum/student teaching. I don't know about Crane, but I don't use half of what I was taught because it's all too idealistic. Hopefully your experiences will be better though :)
