It won't be meteorology (where did you get meteorology from traffic?), but I will be announcing the traffic report on LIVE RADIO! You can tune in every morning to get your local traffic update....that is if I get the position :) How cool though? A career in radio? I never thought of it, but I have had people say I'd make a cool radio personality...hmmm.....

ok soooo maybe i was off base with the whole meteorologist thing. but it seems like they always group the weather and traffic together... ah who knows!! anyway, you better start practicing the line, "nich road is backed up clear to california as usual" and "dont even attempt richmond rd. too many G.D. stop lights and a-holes on wheels to bother" and "if you're headed through campus today, better watch out for those of us on two wheels and handlebars". YAYYYYYYY I HOPE YOU GET IT! Thats awesome that he sought you out! shows how far it goes to have a nice personality to strangers.

Yeah, when I originally typed it, I accidentally put "practice my weather-girl voice".....they pretty much are grouped together. I talked to him today on the phone (Rob St. John) and he said if I did good with the traffic report, then I could start reporting the news in the mornings too! Exciting. BUT, I don't have the job yet. He said we have to make sure I sound good on the air, so I have to audition on their morning show sometime next week. EEEP! I don't think I've ever even been in a radio station before (but I have been at W-LEX; does that count for something?). So, I think I'm gonna spend the night in lex one day next week, audition for this radio thing in the morning, then drive back to Louisville to be at work at 8 am (I'm a client liason at a property preservation company; did I tell you that?)....so next week is going to be uber stressful. The job sounds so cool though, except that its only 6am-9am Mon. - Fri. so I won't be making any damn money, and I have soooo much debt. It sucks to buy a new car with $300 monthly ( ... )

Thanks hilly, I appreciate it :) Did I tell you I found a job? It's not in journalism, but it's okay for now, and the money will do for now too. Call me if you can sometime. Are you coming into town soon? You better not sneak in and out of KY without seeing your fav roomie ever!!!!

Thanks love! I "audition" to see if I have a radio-friendly voice next week! I've never even been in a radio station before!!!! But I gots to try, because it would be so cool to talk on live radio everyday.
