Okay, so I'm watching the Today show just now (don't ask why I keep watching it. I don't know), and they're talking about "unique" gifts for the holidays. What sort of gifts, you ask? One of the things that always bothered me the most about the food drive is the "well we didn't want it" attitude.

If you hate creamed corn A)Why would you buy it? and B) Why would you thinking giving it to someone who has little to nothing would be "charitible"?

It is sad. I was giving to the Toys for Teens drive when I picked up the Futurama movie (it's at least worth a rental if not the buy if you were curious) and the cashier seemed shocked/ semi-annoyed that I made him scan the charitible contribution. ...I was also the only person in line.

It's like even helping people became a chore to others somehow.
