Started my piano lessons yesterday. Since it was so new yesterday I practiced for two hours. Today I had to cut it down to half an hour of retraining and half an hour of new stuff. Apparently I didn't absorb much as of yesterday ( Read more... )

Piano lessons??? Where are you taking them and with who? I was taking lessons for a while but didn't really learn anything because the teacher, while good at assigning songs out of the book to play, was miserable at actually TEACHING things I needed to learn...like how to read bass clef notes.

I'm taking them online actually. You think that would suck, but they have a really comprehensive guide.

That sounds cool. I was thinking about getting one of those "Piano for Dummies" books and trying it that way, but online might be just as good.

It's been working pretty well for me. When I get over to my mom's house I'll post the address to the lessons I've been using.

You might be a little more advanced than me though. If you want you can just type in goolge 'free piano lessns online' and you can get some very nice comprehensive webpages.
