I don't know if Dean would have been able to kill Alastair. I like to think he would, but the way Alastair had Dean so mixed up psychologically, I just don't know.

Gah! This is so terrible and disturbing in the best way possible. Somehow the threat of cutting off Dean's eyelids (again) really got to me. And I guess it's true when Alastair says torture on earth is just way too limited, oh, which reminds me, I'm in love with your Alastair voice here (which is one more issue to put on the list of things I need to discuss with a therapist at some point) and that bit near the end about that dark place inside Dean with the things he knows are true? That's perfection right there!
