A/N: Written in response to the picture prompt for today's mini-nano.
It would be beautiful if you didn’t know what it really was. If you just looked at the sunset hued sky and not the rundown buildings spewing their filth into the air.
The smoke clouds glow with a fiery orange light. Some would say it’s lovely. Some would say it’s ominous. These are the people who have the inclination to look skyward and imagine.
Reality is where Sam lives, now. Where Dean has always lived. They hunt, they kill, they hide and they fight for their lives against demons and angels. And neither, ever, looks to the heavens and wonders.
