What was that about your Sam-voice? Because this?! THIS WAS PERFECT. I just...WOW. This was gorgeous and hurty and made me feel more for Sam than Show has - his plight so bleak and you can FEEL why he went down that spiraling path and cling to it like it was his new religion. Just...gorgeous.

I love Sam, I do, I just feel like I don't have as good a handle on him as I do Dean. But whenever I get a prompt to write him, it seems to work out okay.

I'm glad you felt for Sam here. I wanted to show how his prayers were answered in a way that would totally wreck him. Heaven had it in for him; the game was rigged and he was going to lose no matter what he did.

Chemm80's original was pretty painful and I tried to keep that dark hurt going in mine. Sam's faith has always kind of fascinated me and God taking Dean had to have been a big slam to it.

Sam during that time was so lost and hurt and just ripe for Ruby to come and pick him up.
