that's not what a mtehod actor is... a method actor is someone who draws from what they know to achieve a desired emotional reaction in their acting.

I know what a method actor is Gavin. My point was that most if not all LARPers are method actors. It's like the saying for writers, "Write what you know." Feelings come across as more realistic if they are based on something.
